About QuBiD
The QuBiD Master’s programme is designed to equip students with methodological expertise in researching biodiversity across temporal and spatial scales, using modern bioinformatic tools essential for the integration, analysis, and modelling of large datasets (big data integration). In view of the rapid development of artificial intelligence and its increasing application in statistical analysis and programming, the proposed programme is of particular importance, as it combines digital competencies with robust ecological knowledge, field and laboratory experience, and the critical interpretation of results. Graduates of QuBiD will be able to provide reliable data interpretation, select appropriate models, assess uncertainty, and utilise AI responsibly in biodiversity conservation.
